When Is the Jamaica Plain Music Festival, Arts Festival?

Looking for something to do this weekend in JP? Both the Jamaica Plain music festival and the Latin American Arts FLEA are this weekend.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — Tired of the same ole music you've been listening to? This Saturday is the seventh annual Jamaica Plain Music Festival. For seven hours on two stages in JP there will be music non stop. The festival features 20 local artists and bands, plus food trucks and children's activities just a bit northeast from JP Pond at Pinebank Field at the pond (that's at Perkins Street at the J-way)

And the best thing about it? JP Music Festival is supported by the generosity of local business - everything from founding sponsor the Galway House to stage sponsors like JP Licks to Tres Gatos, the Midway Cafe, and WEMF Radio, so it's free to folks.
