43 Percent Of Lexington Has Received At Least One Vaccine Dose

Nearly 80 percent of Lexington residents over age 75 have received both doses, according to the state's data.

LEXINGTON, MA — More than 2,700 of Lexington's oldest residents have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state’s data. Roughly a quarter of Lexington residents as a whole are fully vaccinated, up from 23 percent last week.

Roughly 17 percent of the town's residents have received just the first dose. About six in 10 residents ages 65 to 74 are fully vaccinated, and 24 percent in that age group have received just their first dose.

Lexington reported 28 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to the state report released Thursday, placing it in the "green" zone.
