Cary Library To Reopen For Browsing Beginning April 27

"We are all looking forward to making this next step in restoring library services and to seeing you in the library!" the director wrote.

LEXINGTON, MA — Cary Library will reopen to the public on April 27, director Koren Stembridge announced Monday. The capacity is set at 50 total people—15 people are permitted in the children’s section at a time and five in the teen section.

Browsing will be allowed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. You can use the Minuteman Library Network’s app to self-checkout, and all books must be returned in the book drop outside. Public computers, copying and printing are not available yet. More services may begin in July, according to the library’s schedule for reopening.

“On behalf of all of us here at Cary Library, I’d like to thank you for your support and patience over the past year,” Stembridge wrote. “We are all looking forward to making this next step in restoring library services and to seeing you in the library!”
