Cotting School Seniors Celebrate Drive-By Graduation

First drive-by graduation held in the school's 127 year history

For the first time in Cotting School's 127 year history, the school held a drive-by graduation. A pride-filled fleet of Cotting School faculty and staff rolled an amazing rally of vans and vehicles through the hometown neighborhood of each member of the Cotting class of 2020. In true Cotting School style, the community gave its seniors a loud, cheerful and meaningful celebration.

The distance-appropriate rallies were followed by an online gathering of Cotting seniors, their families, our faculty and staff for a slideshow celebration of school milestones and memories for each member of the class of 2020.

Graduation night is typically the best night of the Cotting School year. So, when it is safe to do so, the school will treat their students to the full ceremony they deserve.

No one could have anticipated the Cotting School community would spend June 5, 2020 in a 40-plus car caravan traveling across eastern Massachusetts visiting the homes of our 7 graduates, but all agree it was a wonderful day all around!
