Lexington Cyclist Hit By Car, Cracks Windshield

The cyclist only suffered minor injuries.

LEXINGTON, MA — Lexington first responders were called to Massachusetts Avenue on Monday for a cyclist who was hit by a car.

The cyclist was riding on Massachusetts Avenue at Grant Street when they were hit by a car, Lexington fire officials said. The impact of the hit cracked the windshield of the car and dented the front bumper.

The cyclist suffered minor injuries.

The town is warning cyclists, pedestrians and drivers to use caution on Massachusetts Avenue, a notoriously busy road in town. More cyclists and pedestrians are out now with the warm weather and as people look for ways to spend time outdoors, officials said.
