Lexington First Responders Pull Person And Dog From Icy Waters

No injuries were reported and the person refused to be taken to the hospital

LEXINGTON, MA — Lexington firefighters had been practicing ice rescues all last week and had to put the training into practice on Saturday.

Firefighters responded to a report that a person and a dog had fallen through the ice at Arlington Reservoir. Firefighters pulled the person and the dog from the water and made sure they were safe.

Fire officials said there were no injuries reported and the person refused to be taken to the hospital.
