Lexington Real Estate: Median Sale, Listing Prices

LEXINGTON, MA—Despite skyrocketing property values across the Commonwealth, median sale prices have kept consistent in Lexington.

According to Trulia’s most recent data, Homes sold in Lexington since October 2015 sold for a median price of $70900. This reflects a .06% or $4,000 increase median sales price from the prior quarter.

However, listing prices continue to rise. Homes were listed at an average price of $1,692,834 during the week which ended Jan. 13. This reflects a $66,815 or 4.1 percent increase since Dec. 23 and a 6.3 percent or $99,860 increase from the prior week.

Zillow predicts that Lexington’s Zillow Home Value Index will increase from $828,900 in Jan. to $830,000 in Feb.
