LEXINGTON, MA — Lexington Public Schools Superintendent Julie Hackett made the call on Monday: all Lexington students will work remote on Tuesday due to the impending snowstorm.

The town and the rest of the Bay State is getting ready for the third storm in eight days to hit on Tuesday. Piles of snow are still coating Lexington but early on Tuesday, as much as 2-3 more inches could come down.

Sunday's storm dropped between 5-12 inches, with the higher totals coming in the southeastern Massachusetts. Last Monday's uneven storm dropped 2 inches in Boston and 2 feet in Lowell.
More snow is threatening later in the week, but it's unclear whether it'll make its way to Massachusetts.
