Lexington To See Mass. Ave. Lane Closures, Detours

Traffic impacts go into effect Wednesday evening.

LEXINGTON, MA – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced overnight off-peak lane closures and detours on Massachusetts Avenue in Lexington. Traffic impacts will take place between Marrett Road and Pleasant Street from the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 10 through the evening of Saturday, Oct. 13.

Impacts will be in effect between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. so crews can conduct paving work. There will be a single lane of traffic through the work area with one direction of traffic detoured to Follen Road.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details and message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area. The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
