Lexington Stays in Green Zone, Reports Fewer Coronavirus Cases

The town recorded 28 cases in last week's report.

LEXINGTON, MA — Lexington reported 28 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to April 3.

The average daily incidence rate was lower than the previous week's, decreasing to 5.9 from 7.8. The percent positivity decreased from 1.2 percent to 0.82 percent. Roughly a quarter of Lexington residents have received both doses of the vaccine, and another 17 percent have received just one dose.

Massachusetts reported 1,938 cases over the past two weeks, with a daily incidence rate of 28.1 and a percent positivity of 2.29 percent.
