LEXINGTON, MA—May is Revolutionary Revelry month in the Town of Lexington, and the town is celebrating arts, culture and recreation this month.

Historic House Story Hour at Buckman Tavern
9:00 a.m., $

Come one, come all and gather around! Children will gather in Buckman Tavern and be regaled with stories of times gone by. During this new program, led by a Historical Society staff member, children will listen to a story dealing with the Colonial Period and have the opportunity to tour Buckman Tavern. Children will be able to imagine themselves in the Colonial Period as they tour the historic house AND they will complete a Colonial craft to take home and enjoy.

Fife & Drum Muster
12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Free

An afternoon of historical music presented by 30 fife and drum corps. An on-site parade will begin the event, followed by performances of uniformed musicians in historical uniforms. Complete with colonial vendors and re-enactors. Enjoyable for people of all ages. FREE Parking, or park in Lexington Center and ride the free shuttle from the Lexington Visitors Center (1875 Massachusetts Ave.) to the Muster. The shuttle will be runninf from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
