Lexx Restaurant Closing After 15 Years In Lexington
The popular Lexington Center restaurant is shutting down at the end of the month.
LEXINGTON, MA — A popular Lexington restaurant is shutting down after 15 years. Lexx Restaurant in Lexington Center will close June 29, according to the Lexington Minuteman. Owner Chris Bateman, who has been in the restaurant business for 26 years, told the Minuteman, "it's a younger man's game to be honest."
Over the course of its 15-year run, Lexx Restaurant was highly reviewed by the Boston Globe and has been awarded "Best of Lexington" in various categories, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The restaurant offers New American cuisine as well as wines and craft cocktails.
Lexx Restaurant is located at 1666 Massachusetts Ave.
