Obituary: Beloved Husband and Father John Kefalas

KEFALAS, John H. Of Lexington, Dec. 27, 2013. Husband of Alice (Chastanet) Kefalas. Father of Maria J. Kefalas of Philadelphia, PA, Catherine I. Kefalas of Sudbury, Robert J. Kefalas of Lexington, and Nicole A. Kefalas of Lexington. Brother of George Kefalas of Greece. John is also survived by 10 grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. 

A Funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 30 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 17 Meriam St., Lexington at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in John Kefalas' memory to support charities for orphaned children in his homeland of Greece. Please make checks payable in John Kefalas' memory to St. Athanasius the Great, Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington, MA 02476. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
