Obituary: Sister Irene Harper, SGM, of Lexington

LEXINGTON, MA – HARPER, Sister Irene, SGM of Lexington, March 7, 2017. Daughter of the late Alexander and Lillian (Bail) Harper. Survived by cousin's Virginia Humel of Chicopee, MA and Lorraine Authier of Three Rivers, MA and many friends.

Sister Irene was a dietitian and worked in the kitchen at several of the Grey Nuns institutions in NH, Ohio and MA for some 15 years. She was a supervisor at Residential Communities in Lawrence, MA and did community services for her Congregation in Lexington, MA. Sister Irene also served as Grey Nuns Local Leader in Lawrence, MA for several mandates.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday March 10 at Youville Place Chapel, 10 Pelham Rd. Lexington at 12.15 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday prior to the Mass from 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
