Patriot's Day 2021: Follow The Trail Of American Revolutionaries
The Town of Lexington is hosting "Patriots Point Walk: Miles & Smiles," which asks participants to visit historical sites and document it.
LEXINGTON, MA — Patriots are heading to Lexington and Concord’s historical sites on April 19 this year—paper ones, that is.
To celebrate Patriot’s Day, the Town of Lexington is hosting a “miles and smiles” competition where participants can print out “patriots” and pose with them at landmarks. Residents will vote for their favorite pictures, and winners will be determined by these votes and the town celebrations committee.
Our friends at the Lexington Celebrations Committee have dreamed up a fun activity for #VirtualPatriotsDay! Print off a #PatriotPal from the town website (https://t.co/PGsZYCGPLs) and get some photos as you "pal around" town with them. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/UH2j5jAhBH

Some of the stops on the route include the Minuteman Statue, the Paul Revere capture site and Hartwell Tavern. Apart from just tracking smiles—the photos taken at each place—participants can also simply track their miles to show how many sites they’ve visited.
