Sobriety Checkpoint Coming Up In Middlesex County

The checkpoint will last from June 7 to June 8.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MA — Massachusetts State Police will perform a sobriety checkpoint in June in Middlesex County.

The State Police announced the upcoming checkpoint on Tuesday. The checkpoint will take place between June 7 to June 8 at varied hours. State police said the selection of vehicles will not be arbitrary and the process with be safe and inconveniences minimized with advance notice to reduce fear and anxiety.

The purpose of the checkpoints are to educate drivers about the dangers of driving under the influence.
