Art & Music

These are challenging times as our community and the world fights the corona virus. Lexington organizations are finding new ways to reach constituents and stay connected to their community.

Founded in 1981, Special Needs Arts Programs, Inc., (SNAP) is a private, 501 c 3 non-profit organization based here in Lexington that enhances the lives of people with special needs through art and music programs. The corona virus and closure of the Lexington Community Center meant a temporary pause to their programming.

To continue providing a community of creativity and expression for their participants with disabilities, SNAP launched a YouTube channel with videos from their Music Director Tom Malone and Art Director Lidija Vukovic.
