We recently posted a number Town committees with vacancies, many with a March 15 deadline. A few committees that still have vacancies are listed below:

Town Manager-appointed committees with vacancies:

• Youth Commission April 23, 2021
• Board of Health April 23, 2021
• Board of Assessors April 23, 2021

For consideration for appointment to a Town Manager-appointed committee, interested candidates should:

• Fill out the application form
• Return the form by the deadline listed above, along with a resume, either by email to TownManager@LexingtonMA.gov or mail to:

The volunteer committees in Lexington are vital to the delivery of Town programs and services. They provide a rich source of knowledge and expertise, expand the town's ability to research issues and best practices, and enhance the communication between residents, Town staff, and elected officials.

We're always looking for volunteers, both to fill vacancies as they occur, as well as to put on our list of potential volunteers for future vacancies.

Most committees are appointed by the Select Board, but some are appointed by the Town Manager.
