As a first step, the Select Board has established a Semiquincentennial Commission (Lex250), and they are looking for members with varied knowledge and experience from all parts of our community.

The Commission's role will be to “evaluate, make recommendations and coordinate the Town-wide activities to be held to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Lexington.”

If you'd like to be on the Commission, read the Commission Charge to see who we're looking for. If you qualify, fill out the online application.

The deadline to submit an application is March 15, 2021.

If you'd like to be involved, but don't qualify or don't want to be on the Commission, don't worry — once we've started planning, we'll be putting out the call for volunteers, so stay tuned!

For questions, email the Select Board Office, or call 781-698-4580.
