34 Percent of Essex County Received At Least One Vaccine Dose

Eighty-two percent Essex County residents over age 75 have received at least one dose, according to the state's data.

ESSEX COUNTY, MA — Over 80 percent of Essex County's oldest residents have received least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state’s data. Thirty-four percent of the county's residents as a whole have received at least one dose, up from 30 percent last week.

Four in 5 residents ages 70 to 74 have received at least one dose, and 78 percent in the 65-to-69 age group have received one.

Massachusetts recorded its 600,000th case of the virus in its data this week and labeled 55 communities as "high risk." Find if your town or city is high risk using the map here.
