Lynnfield Fire Department Responded To 37 Calls Last Week

The majority of the calls were rescue and EMS.

LYNNFIELD, MA — Firefighting is busy work and in Lynnfield, the fire department is open with the community about exactly how much work it's doing and what kind. Last week, the department said it responded to 37 calls.

The majority of the calls, 23, were rescue and EMS related. Only three of the calls during the week were fire-related. The department's statement breaking down the number of calls throughout the week highlighted the different types of emergencies firefighters handle. Among the calls were good intent calls, hazardous conditions and service calls.

The department said it received three simultaneous calls this week.
