Lynnfield Fourth of July Race Monday

Lynnfield, MA - The Lynnfield Athletic Association is organizing the 4th of July Road Race. This is a family friendly event attracting people of all ages, a release said. The course is a predominantly flat out and back route through quiet neighborhood streets, a release said. "There is one short hill. It is a fun race for all. Wear your red, white and blue and join in the fun!" a release said.

A raffle and award ceremony are held after the race. Awards are presented to the following male and female finishers in each of the categories:

• Overall 1st place ;male and female
• Top Finisher from Lynnfield High School ;male and female
• Age 70+ 1st place
• Age 60-69 1st place
• Age 50-59 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• Age 40-49 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• Age 30-39 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• Age 20-29, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• Age 17-19, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• Age 14-16, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• Age 11-13, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• Under 10, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
