Lynnfield Girls To Face Charlestown In Hoop Tournament

They knew they were tournament bound, but Friday afternoon the MIAA made it official with the announcement of the 2019 basketball tournament pairings.

After a 12-8 regular season, the Lynnfield girls' basketball team will host Charlestown Wednesday in the first round of the Division 3 North tournament. The winner will face No. 3 seed Greater Lawrence in the quarterfinals. Lynnfield won its last four games to qualify for the tournament.
