Lynnfield Home Prices Up Since Last Year

Single-family home sales posted a year over year decline in Lynnfield last month, although average prices remain well above where they were in 2012.

In its latest monthly report on Massachusetts real estate sales, the Warren Group reported 12 home sales for the month of June – compared to 16 for that month back in 2012.

Despite the slower month of June, year to date home sales for 2013 are still very much comparable to where they were in 2012. As of the end of June 2013, 55 year to date home sales were recorded, compared to 57 in 2012.

The year to date median sales price is about 17% higher than where it was last year however – it’s $495,000 this year, compared to $422,500 for the first half of 2012.
