Lynnfield Home Sales Exceed 100 For The Year

Lynnfield saw a relatively healthy month of September for local real estate, with the town having also apparently recorded its 100th single family home sale early this month.

New data from the Warren Group shows 13 home sales in Lynnfield for September, compared to 10 for that month in 2012. Year to date, 99 homes have sold in Lynnfield, compared to 95 for that point in 2012.

Year to date, Lynnfield has a median sale price of $495,000, reported the Warren Group. Last year at this time, that figure stood at $430,000. The September median sale price this year was $535,000 – a difference of less than one percent from 2012.

"Despite rising interest rates, home sales have remained high this year, particularly booming in the third quarter," said The Warren Group CEO Timothy M. Warren Jr.
