Lynnfield Housing Receives $248,000.00 from State Funding Program
The Lynnfield Housing Authority has received $248,000.00 to use for capital improvements.

The Lynnfield Housing Authority was recently awarded $248,000.00 in Capital Finance Assistance from the Baker-Polito Administration. The money will fund capital projects through March of 2020. This competitive Capital Improvement Program awards funds based on the municipality’s housing production record, housing authority financial stability, and active implementation of housing production best practices.
The Chairman of the Lynnfield Housing Authority, Joseph Markey, thanked his staff, board members, and Lynnfield's Legislators for there ongoing advocacy for the Housing Authority. "Receiving significant state funding like this is a team effort and I'm proud to have partnered with Rep. Jones and Senator Crighton to ease the financial burden on Lynnfield by receiving this state aid," said Markey.
