Lynnfield Weather: Snow Totals Falling for Potential Sunday Night Storm

LYNNFIELD, MA - Spring is coming on Sunday, along with some remnants of winter weather.

However, the good news is that the latest snowfall projections have Essex County in line for about 2-4 inches, a far cry from early forecasts that had up to 14 inches of snow hitting the area Sunday night into Monday.

Maybe you can put those snow shovels away, after all.

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind around 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 19. North wind 5 to 8 mph.

Sunday: A chance of snow, mainly after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 35. North wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Sunday Night: Snow likely, mainly after 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Monday: A chance of snow, mainly before 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Northwest wind 6 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
