Lynnfield Woman Earns Certification To Lead Local Business Course
She has become the first and only certified facilitator in Massachusetts of the Destination Creation course.
LYNNFIELD, MA — Deanne Healey of Lynnfield the first and only certified Facilitator in Massachusetts of the Destination Creation course and one of only 50 facilitators in the United States.
The Destination Creation Course teaches a 14-point business success strategy developed by internationally known business consultant Jon Schallert. Schallert created the methodology after three decades of coaching independent business owners. In the past, businesses interested in taking the class had to travel to Colorado for training, now the course has been adapted to virtual learning.
Healey became familiar with Schallert’s work through the National Main Streets network and jumped on the chance to bring this expertise to local businesses.

“In my involvement with the Peabody Main Streets program, I’ve had the opportunity to attend the annual National Main Street Conference many times. The first thing I would look for is to see when Schallert’s session was scheduled” Healey said. “Jon is able to communicate about the changing retail landscape, help business owners identify what is unique about their business, and harness the power of marketing to increase sales.”
The course material is a combination of dialogue & discussion among participants allowing for the opportunity to hear different business perspectives, recorded webinars, and interviews with world-class business experts and authors, in addition to a 178-page digital workbook. A special section on increasing revenue during Covid-19 has also been added.

“Our mission has always been to help independently-owned businesses who are the backbone of so many communities in North America,” Schallert says. “When we train leaders like Deanne, they are able to bring this critically-important information back to owners who need it now. Taking the Destination Creation Course can help owners successfully position themselves for the future and beyond.”
Peabody Main Streets and the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Destination Course for small business owners for free on March 15.
"We are excited to offer this business-building opportunity free of charge (normally $799 to attend) to small business owners knowing it will assist them with spotlighting their unique services and products in a new way. The bonus is having Deanne, the only licensed Destination Creation facilitator in the state and Peabody’s 2019 Person of the Year, guide businesses through these chapters each week. You do not want to miss this opportunity!” said Beth Amico, Executive Director of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce.
