During Donnie’s grammar school and high school years, he always worked hard in his family businesses. Before he even had his license he would go on the Middleton Spring Beverage and Tom Sawyer Root Beer trucks as a helper and would work diligently as a small young boy.

Before the beverage business closed in 1967, due to his Dad’s poor health, his parents purchased Pocahontas Spring Water Company which he is presently co-owner of. Previously he also was co-owner of Middleton Spring Beverages. His hard physical labor carried him throughout his entire life until his dying day.

Regardless of what kind of a day Donnie was having, whether he wasn’t feeling well or just having a though day at work, Donnie would always have time for other people and always had a big smile on his face. He always had time to say hello and he did so because of his love for people. Donnie will be remembered for his caring of others, his big heart, his generosity, his huge hello and his concern for everyone.
