Obituary: Wendell Hollett, 90

Wendell Hollett, 90, a longtime Lynnfield resident died, Thursday at the Winchester Hospital.
Born in Wakefield on June 8, 1923 he was the son of the late Jabez Hollett.
Mr. Hollett was a graduate of Wakefield High School and later graduated from the University of Maine at Orono and took courses at Rensalier Polytechnical Institute. Mr. Hollett was a member of the Centre Congregational Church as well as the former director of the Wakefield Cooperative Bank. He had retired from Johnson Control in 1974 and was the former vice president and Partner for Mecon Corperation an HVAC company in Braintree. He was also past vice president of Mitco Corperation of Somerville. He was a former member of both the Woburn and Cambridge Rotary Clubs and the MF&AM Masonic Lodge. He had served in the Navy during WWII.
Mr. Hollett was the husband of the late Ruth M. (Mugford) Hollett. He was the father of Wendy Hollett of Franklin, TN, Dr. Marcia Hollett of Cape Coral, FL, and William F. Hollett of Wading River, NY. He was the brother of Louise Hollett of Washington and the late Lloyd Hollett. He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren; Jared P. Hollett and Rylee Hollett.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Glenwood Cemetery, Washington Ave., Everett on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
