Pills, Pot, Steroids And More — I-95 Traffic Stop Yields Odd Score: MSP
Police say they recovered tons of drugs - including edibles and a jar of liquid steroids - and replica firearms.

WAKEFIELD, MA — A traffic stop of an alleged drugged driver Monday resulted in the seizure of all sorts of drugs and replica weapons.
Around 2:20 p.m. police were called by motorists about an erratic driver on I-95 North in Wakefield. A State Trooper stopped a the vehicle, a gray Hyundai, in Lynnfield. The trooper placed the driver, Nicholas Balboni, 29, of Athol, into custody after he failed sobriety tests, police said.
An inventory of the vehicle led to the discovery of 216 suboxone pills, 4 Ziploc bags of marijuana, plastic pouch with marijuana, 2 edible marijuana chocolates, jar of marijuana resin, jar of liquid steroids and three airsoft replica firearms in the vehicle.

Bail for Balboni was set at $540. He was charged with OUI drugs 2nd offense, negligent operation of motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, drug possession class B with intent to distribute, drug possession class D with intent to distribute, and drug possession class E.
