RMLD Lobby Reopening on June 15, 2021

The Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) will reopen its lobby to customers on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

Following the Reading Board of Health's vote to rescind all COVID-19-related emergency orders, the Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) will reopen its lobby to customers on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

The RMLD, given its essential business in the provision of safe and reliable electricity, will continue to implement and recommend some practices aimed at keeping its employees and customers safe. All customers and visitors are recommended to wear masks and practice social distancing and proper hygiene while inside the building. Lobby restrooms will remain closed to the public.

RMLD's business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. RMLD is available to respond to outages and emergencies 24/7/365.
