Peabody Woman Injured In Route 1 Tanker Crash
The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries in a crash that shut down two lanes of Route 1 for about 30 minutes Monday morning.
LYNNFIELD, MA — A Peabody woman was injured in a Monday morning crash with a tanker on Route 1. State Police confirmed the woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash, reported around 9:45 a.m., shut down two lanes just before the bridge at Route 129 in Lynnfield. The scene was cleared about 30 minutes later, but caused heavy delays.
The tanker was empty at the time of the crash, police said.
