Shovel Out Fire Hydrants: Lynnfield Center Water District
Clear hydrants save first responders valuable seconds when responding to a fire.

LYNNFIELD, MA — The Lynnfield Center Water District is reminding residents to shovel their nearest hydrants as more snow fell over the town and more may be on the way.
Clear hydrants save first responders valuable seconds when responding to a fire.
“We ask that all residents be mindful of the locations of fire hydrants in their neighborhoods as we work our way through the last weeks of winter,” Superintendent John Scenna said. “By being proactive and shoveling out hydrants when you shovel your driveways and sidewalks, you can save valuable time in the event firefighters need to access them in an emergency.”
