Tough Day For Mass High School Baseball Stars

It was a good day to be a Connecticut high school baseball player.

Connecticut beat Massachusetts twice Saturday, sweeping the series at BC High in Dorchester. In the senior game, Connecticut beat Mass, 12-3. For Mass, West Springfield's Nick Dombkowski was the Most Valuable Pitcher and Auburn's Josh Toner was the Most Valuable Player. The junior game was closer, but Connecticut came out on top, 5-4. The Most Valuable pitcher for Mass was BC High's Mike Vasil. The Most Valuable Player was Don Cahoon of Plymouth North.
