YMCA of Metro North to Host Half Marathon in Peabody Next Month!

On Saturday, November 23rd the Torigian Family YMCA will host the LiveSTRONG for the Y Half Marathon and Two-Person Relay!

The YMCA of Metro Northand the Torigian Family YMCA are excited to host the annual YMCA of Metro North LiveSTRONG at the Y Half Marathon, the only half marathon in Peabody (again this year a two-person relay option is offered). The race will take place on Saturday, November 23rd and start at Lt. Ross Park (Cy Tenney). The race route proceeds north on the Independence Parkway into West Peabody, winding through local neighborhoods before ultimately finishing back at Lt. Ross Park. Join us for this test of running endurance, perfect for experienced runners or those looking to complete their first half marathon. You will also be supporting our LiveSTRONG at the Y program where local cancer survivors participate in a 12 week specialized exercise program to gain strength in body, mind and spirit after treatments.

Race Features:
-Chip Timing provided by Northshore Timing
-Post race refreshments
-Awards to the top finisher in each age group
-Finisher medal
-T-shirt provided to participants registered by Oct. 31st

Start and Finish Location: Lt. Ross Park, Peabody, MA View Course Map
Start time: 9:00am
Packet pickup: Friday, November 22nd, 2019 from 2pm–7pm at the Torigian Family YMCA
Race Day Registration: Saturday, November 23th from 7:30 am – 8:45 am at Lt. Ross Park. Pre-registered Packet pickup also available at this time.
