Black Box Theatre Gets Liquor License

MANSFIELD, MA — Trips to the Black Box Theater in Mansfield will now include the option to purchase an alcoholic beverage.

The selectmen this week approved a liquor license for the home of the Mansfield Music and Arts Society. While the license allows for all alcohol, the establishment will serve only wine and beer, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Beverages will be limited to the pre-show, art exhibitions, and private functions.

The group, which is planning to construct a new building near the Xfinity Center, will be able to keep the license when they move to the new location.
