Despite Gains, Mansfield Home Prices Remain Under Pre-Recession Prices

Despite gains over the last few years, home prices in Mansfield have yet to return to their pre-recession prices.
According to data compiled by the Boston Globe, Mansfield saw a decrease of 13.44 percent in median home prices from 2005 to 2014, but a 5.11 percent increase between 2011 and last year.
In 2005, the median home price was $427,450, before dipping to $352,000 in 2011. The median price increased to $370,000 last year.

Locally, only Sharon saw prices recover from the recession with median prices increasing 7.35 percent from 2005 to 2014. In the same period, Foxborough remains down 6.23 percent, Stoughton is 13.78 lower, and Easton is only 3.64 percent below 2005 prices.
