Fill The Wagons Event Helps Restock Mansfield Food Pantry
Mansfield police said donations of food and gift cards added up to more than $1,000.

MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield police were able to collect more than $1,000 in donations on a hot summer Saturday at Shaw's to benefit the West Side Benevolent Circle's summer meal program.
Police said they were able to fill two vans with groceries that restocked the food pantry that has been hit hard during the coronavirus health crisis. Individual donors gave gift cards of $100 and $200 to the "Fill the Wagons" event.
The West Side Benevolent Circle's summer program provides meals to children and families during the summer months the way Mansfield Public Schools Backpack Buddies does during the school year.
