Funeral Service for Mansfield Siblings who Died in Maine Cabin to be Held July 26

Services for two Mansfield natives who died unexpectedly last weekend will be held this Sunday in Mansfield.

21-year-old Brooke Wakelin and 18-year-old Matthew Wakelin died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a cabin in Byron, Maine on July 17, 2015 along with 22-year-old Deana Lee Powers of Mansfield; Brooke’s boyfriend, 23-year-old Keith Norris of Attleboro; and their beloved pet Snoopy

Brooke resided in Attleboro and Matthew in Mansfield.

They were born in Weymouth and were children of Mark Wakelin and Linda Cousens. They are survived by their parents, brother Michael Wakelin, Michael’s son Wesley Wakelin, and many cousins.

A celebration of their lives will be held on Sunday July 26, 2015 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church on North Main Street in Mansfield.

Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to a GoFundMe page in their memory.
