Home Needed For Special Needs Dog In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, MA — If you believe love is blind — and you are willing to take a chance on an older dog who can get a bit nervous at times — then Kimmie might be the dog for you. The Mansfield Animal Shelter is looking for a home for the 9-year-old Yorkshire mix that came to the shelter due to her owner's poor health.

The Mansfield Animal Shelter said Kimmie has been blind since birth. She is fearful at first when meeting people and can nip if she feels threatened. She walks on a leash, but can get confused easily so she has be walked slowly and reassured.

Kimmie is partially pee-pad trained, and is spayed and up to date with all of her vaccinations.
