KISS Concert Kicks Off Xfinity Center Concert Season

With warm weather here and and summer around the corner, the Xfinity Center will kick off their concert season Saturday with the KISS Concert held by KISS 108.

The annual showcase of pop music features some of the top artists and rising performers on the hit radio station. Whether you’re getting ready to enjoy the music or want to know when to avoid the traffic, here is what you need to know:

Parking Lots

The Xfinity Center lots will open at 2 p.m. Standard parking is free but premier parking is available ahead of time for $45.

For those looking for a quicker exit, there are two privately owned lots across the street and next to the venue.

Police do provide safe crossing for those parked across the street and the lot next door does have a direct and safe path into the venue.

The Dos and Donts of the Xfinity Center

Permitted Items

• One factory sealed bottle of water
• Blankets
• Personal Camera
• One gallon of food in a soft cooler or plastic bag

Banned Items

• Laser pointers
• Lawn chairs
• Professional cameras with detachable lenses
• Audio or video recording devices
• iPads
• All weapons

4. Watch Out For Traffic

Due to the length of the event, those traveling around areas of Route 140 and Route 495 near the venue should expect traffic delays during the afternoon and evening.

5. Tickets Are Still Available

If you want to go but you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, there are still seats available. If you choose to pick them up at the show, the will call office is located at the box office.
