Korn, Alice In Chains Coming To Mansfield's Xfinity Center
Two major 90s bands, Alice in Chains and Korn, are coming to Mansfield in August.

The 90s grunge bands Alice in Chains and Korn are going on tour this summer, and will make a joint stop at Mansfield's Xfinity Center in August.

Alice in Chains originally was formed in Seattle in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who later recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist, the late Layne Staley. Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993. William DuVall joined the band in 2006 as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, replacing Staley, who died in 2002.
Since its formation, Alice in Chains, known for its distinctive harmonies, has released six studio albums, three EPs, three live albums, four compilations, two DVDs, 32 music videos and 31 singles.

Korn was formed in 1993 in Bakersfield, California, by James "Munky" Shaffer, rhythm guitar, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, bass and Brian "Head" Welch, lead guitar and backing vocals. Added later were Jonathan Davis, lead vocals and bagpipies, and Ray Luzier, drums.
The band's dozen records have sold more than 35 million copies worldwide.
