Lamb That Evaded Mansfield Police Back Home

MANSFIELD, MA — The sheep that managed to escape the New England Rodeo in Norton and evade capture by the Mansfield Police Department is back home.

New England Rodeo announced on their Facebook page this week that Dodge has returned home after running away for five days.

Dodge made headlines after she ran away about a week ago. Mansfield Police attempted to wrangle the loose sheep Sunday morning before escaping into the woods around Essex and Ware streets. Video shows Mansfield officers trying to capture the loose animal, but in the end they were unsuccessful.
