Mansfield Beer Industry Leader Announces Retirement From Quality Beverages

Tom Nicholson caps off 40-year career as top Anheuser-Busch InBev executive.

From Quality Beverage: T. Conrad Wetterau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quality Beverage L.P., one of New England’s largest stand-alone independent distributors of Anheuser-Busch InBev branded products, today announced the retirement of Mansfield resident Tom Nicholson as the company’s Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Nicholson’s departure decision caps off a 40-year career as a leading executive in the beer industry.

“It is with deep gratitude and appreciation that we bid farewell to Tom Nicholson, who has been such an asset to the growth of the company over the years, as well as a force for innovation and leadership within the beer industry,” said Conrad Wetterau, Chief Executive Officer and President of Quality Beverage.

Mr. Nicholson has spent the past three decades dedicated to Quality Beverage, joining the company in 1989 and rising to the top day-to-day operational role in the company. Before that, he served in a variety of management roles at Anheuser-Busch, including Division Manager for the state of Indiana and Division Manager for the state of Florida. Mr. Nicholson began his career at Seaboard Products in Danvers in 1977 after graduation from Suffolk University before joining Anheuser-Busch Inc. Tom and his wife, Kari live in Mansfield, where they raised four children.
