Mansfield Board of Health Urges Social Distancing Amid Reopening
Board of Health urges residents not to be lulled into complacency with face masks, improving coronavirus numbers.
MANSFIELD, MA — The Mansfield Board of Health has issued a reminder to residents to remember to maintain social distancing as the weather improves and things begin to open up in phase two of the state's economic reopening.
There has been some concern among health officials that improving coronavirus data and use of face masks will lull residents into a false sense of security when it comes to social distancing.
"If you need to go out for necessary things, stay 6 feet away from others and continue to practice physical distancing," Mansfield officials said. "Social distancing doesn’t mean you need remove yourself from your social groups! Continue to connect with friends and family online. And be sure to wash your hands!"
