Mansfield Capriotti's Closing Labor Day Weekend

MANSFIELD, MA — After Labor Day weekend, the Mansfield Capriotti's will be vacant.

The sandwich shop on School Street will be closing on Sept. 2, according to a note posted on their front door. The note stated that the closure was not something the restaurant saw happening, but they had no other choice.

"We would like to thank you for all four years of support, business, and above all, 'cap-addiction.' Thank you for being some of the best customers we could have ever hoped to serve," the note read.

The Mansfield Capriotti's opened in 2014. The Patriot Place location is expected to remain open.
