Mansfield Cleans Up From Busy Brush With Tropical Storm Isaias
The compost area of the recycling center will be open extended hours for storm debris the rest of the week.

MANSFIELD, MA — The compost section of the Mansfield recycling center will be open extended hours this week for residents to drop off branches and tree limbs from the town's brush with Tropical Storm Isaias Tuesday night.
The compost section will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Saturday and Monday, and 8 a.m. to noon next Tuesday.
Several roads were partially or fully closed Tuesday night due to storm damage in the town.

While power was restored in Mansfield as of Wednesday afternoon, more than 80,000 Massachusetts residents remained in the dark as evening approached. The outage total hit near 200,000 during the height of the storm Tuesday night.
