Mansfield Fire Department Announces Promotions
The Mansfield Fire Department made several promotions after Lt. Justin Desrochers was promoted to Mansfield Fire Chief.
MANSFIELD, MA — The Mansfield Fire Department announced several promotions on Wednesday following the promotion of Lt. Justin Desrochers to replace retiring Mansfield Police Chief Neal Boldringhini. Boldringhini is expected to officially retire in March after helping the department's transition.
"We would also like to take a moment to thank Chief Boldrighini for everything he has done for both the department, and the community in the course of his long career at the MFD," Mansfield fire said in a post on its Facebook page. "He leaves behind a legacy that is very tough to follow."
Captain Marc Goyette will be taking the role of EMS Officer, Lt. Patrick Kelley will be promoted to the rank of Captain in the Fire Prevention division, and Firefighter Justin Sliney will be promoted to Lieutenant on Group 2.
