Mansfield Fire Department Awarded Grant For New Equipment

MANSFIELD, MA —The Mansfield Fire Department held joint training with Foxboro on Wednesday on new Amkus Extrication equipment for both departments. The equipment was purchased, along with a new hose for the engines, with a grant from he FEMA Assistance to Firefighters program and will help the two departments respond jointly to highway incidents.

The firefighters braved the bit of snow on Wednesday in a joint training exercise on the new equipment.
